Nemroc Donation Program

NEMROC, Inc. is a non-profit 501.c.3 manufacturing company located in Alpena Michigan whose main focus is to employ individuals with mental, physical, and social disabilities. NEMROC is not supported by any federal or state assistance and all revenues are the result of sales of products and services.

Almost everybody who seeks work at NEMROC gets the opportunity to be successful. People on parole, with addictions, with serious and persistent mental illness or with developmental disability are all represented in our group of most successful employees.

NEMROC has a strong commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of its employees and their families. NEMROC has established an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help and encourage those employees in need of professional assistance to use it. It is the policy of NEMROC to commit the resources necessary to support the employee assistance program. There is no cost to employees to access EAP services.

NEMROC uses donations from the community to fund a program to provide financial assistance to employees for special needs. Employees have been financially assisted to obtain needed medications, food, utility assistance, car repairs, work boots and clothing and other emergency needs. Working for at or near minimum wage is difficult. Need always exceeds available funding.
